In the letter, FIFA revealed five important points that must be improved by a joint team consisting of FIFA, AFC, the Indonesian government and PSSI.

Five things that must be addressed are stadium security standards, protocols and security procedures by the police, dialogue with clubs and supporters, match schedules, as well as mentoring and benchmarking.

Menpora said FIFA President Gianni Infantino sent a letter directly to President Jokowi, not to PSSI, because he considered the Kanjuruhan Tragedy to be an extraordinary situation.

"Maybe this is considered extraordinary by FIFA. But we must be careful not to translate according to what we want. The government has formed the TGIPF, let the team work," said the Minister of Youth and Sports as quoted by Antara.

In addition, the Minister of Youth and Sports said that the government did not have the authority to evaluate PSSI, such as the insistence of some people who wanted PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan to resign because of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy.

Zainudin said that all matters relating to PSSI as a national football federation are governed by a larger umbrella, namely the international federation of related sports, in this case FIFA.

"It is impossible for the government to get involved in this matter. For national federations, there are international federations. Well, we, the government, provide the best for Indonesian sports without interfering in the federation's internal affairs," Amali said.

"The government does not evaluate individuals. Just wait for the results of the independent joint team (TGIPF). We cannot give conclusions while this team is still working," continued Amali.
