World Cup 2022 results Wales vs Iran

Score808.eu.org -The Iranian national team won super dramatically 2-0 over the Wales national team in Matchday 2 of Group B of the 2022 World Cup which was held at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, Qatar. Friday (25/11/2022) evening WIB. Just as the match looked to be ending in a draw, Iran scored a pair of late goals at 90+8 and 90+13'!

The two Iranian goals were scored by Rouzbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Rezaeian. This victory also opened Iran's chance to qualify for the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup after in the first match of Group B they were slaughtered by England 1-6.

Iran is now collecting 3 points from two matches in second place in the standings, losing on goal difference from England, who have only played once.

Meanwhile, Wales have yet to win from two matches. With one draw and one defeat, Wales slumped to the bottom of the standings with 1 point.

At the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, the two teams traded attacks in the first 10 minutes of the game.

In the 12th minute, Wales striker Kieffer Moore had a good chance to score. However, the striker's shot was still right at the standing position of the Iranian goalkeeper Seyed Hosseini.

Iran itself managed to score a goal in the 15th minute. However, the goal scored by Ali Gholizadeh was disallowed by the VAR for offside.
